I am so loving the McKenzie brothers. This story is about Sebastian and Carla. Sebastian wants Carla, but think she's with his brother Ramon. But she's not, they are pretending to protect Carla from her abusive ex boyfriend, Gary.Finally, Carla can't take it anymore and Ramon sees the pain he is putting his brother through. So, they tell Sebastian about pretending.
Finally, Sebastian gets the love of his life, but now he's having trouble with Jacky. I didn't like Jacky in Michael and Lily's story (seduce). I definitely didn't like her in this story. She needs to leave the McKenzie brothers alone.
I can't wait to read about Lucien and Sabrina, but it will have to wait. Next time to read about Ruben and Rosie (delight).

LEXI ,You did it again, love the McKenzie brothers! I really didn't expect Sebastian to feel and act that way. I was thinking he was going to be alpha male but the man falls in love fast and hard.,.couple times I really wanted to hair my hair out with Carla, but so glad they finally decided to make it work. Can't wait for delight come out, please don't wait too long .
Im in love with this series and this book. I just couldn't put it down until I was at the end and it was finished, however I tried to read slowly so it would last longer. It held me captive and I found myself totally intoxicated by it, as I lingered over every word and experienced every moment. The characters couldn't have been better. I can't wait to read about Reuben and Rosie.
I must say after reading this I am a little disappointed. I had been waiting for Sebastian's story and I was a little let down. He was supposed to be the biggest playboy of them all and I thought that the author could have used that to make the story less predictable. This story line followed the same path as the previous book so I felt like I knew what was going to happen. I hope the next book surprises me more.
It was a nice read to just pass time. There were a lot of times when it was either cheesy or fake. I'm all for great sex but as soon as these two were able to be together, sex seems to be the only thing they do from that point onwards.
More character development would have been good.
I took this book on a long couples retreat with my husband. All I can say is hot, hot, hot! Every scorching page helped keep the fires burning for both myself and my husband. If you want an complicated, serious read with intricate plots and intrigue, look elsewhere. If you want something to keep you and you honey juiced up for days and days, you've come to the right place. Buy the entire McKenzie set.
This is the story of Sebastian and Carla. It should have been a "good girl tames the wild playboy" kinda of book, but to be honest, it seemed to skip a lot of the playboy stuff. He meets her at a wedding and 5mos later, and very little contact, he's in love. Not playboy behavior. Also, I didn't get the whole secret relationship with Carla and Ramon. I did like the addition of Michael and Lily, but naming their daughter Charlotte "lucy"?!?!?! Lest we forget, Lucy is the name her ex's cheating partner(in Seduce). Seems like a little thing, but fans remember and that's a good thing. Means we are reading.
OMG! This book is so HOT! Sebastian and Carla are great together !
This book starts at Michael and Lily's wedding, when Sebastian meets Carla. Their attraction is immediate, but they have to refrain it, because of Ramon, Seb's brother, the man who Carla is compromised.
After many family's encounters, is becoming too difficult to hide theirs feelings for each other and some people start to question whats going on.
Carla has a troubled past and only Ramon knows and helped her when the situation went bad. But Ramon sees both Seb and Carla suffering by being away from each other, and decides to finish with their agony.
Will they stay together?
With the Mckenzie family ,this book is certainly fun all the way!
